Denise BrinkmeyerPresident and Senior Business Analyst, JUMP Technology ServicesOne Oklahoma's few female business leaders in technology, Denise Brinkmeyer employs her leadership to help people and programs achieve their full potential. As the President and Senior Business Analyst for JUMP Technology Services, she helps people focus on their objectives and map out the strategy for achieving success. Her strategic planning and project management skills have helped public and private sector initiatives achieve success.Earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Communications in 1986, Denise Brinkmeyer taught Speech, Drama, and Debate in California, Missouri and Oklahoma over the following 10 years. As a communications teacher, her students learned to hone their communication skills through competition. She introduced competitive speaking events to ACSI accredited schools in eastern Missouri where her students flourished with her support and guidance. Years later, as a middle school teacher and academic bowl coach, she created the Tulsa Public Schools Middle School Academic Bowl League to provide her students with a competitive schedule that would keep them challenged and invested. Her students earned high honors in both their academic and public speaking events. As her family's needs changed, Denise created multiple successful small businesses. Setting her sights on a career in Information Technology she established her own online business through eBay in 1998. Evolving her computer interest from hobby to real career potential, she taught herself computer languages and went on to land programming jobs. Employed by JUMP Technology Services in 2000, she quickly earned a team lead position. Her business skills made her JUMP's most successful analyst and technical salesperson to date. Denise went on to lead the department and is today the President of JUMP Technology Services. Denise believes that determination, courage, and integrity are necessary components for success. As an entrepreneur since the age of 7, her marketing skills have enabled her to operate multiple successful small businesses. In all of her pursuits, she has inspired others to believe in the value of their unique talents and abilities. She serves on the web programs advisory committee for Tulsa Technology Center and speaks frequently to students about career potential. She believes that anyone has the ability to be successful if he (or she) is willing to reinforce inspiration with the courage to act and the determination to overcome the barriers that present themselves.
