About the Awards

The Oklahoma CIO Awards, sponsored by ISG, recognizes technology professionals that have employed Information technology or communications to improve business within the communities they serve. The CIO Awards bestow all entrants and the winners with broad public recognition of their contributions. This includes their team, company, and personally.  Examine the impacts on the service IT provides and the difference it makes within the businesses and community you live and work in. You might be amazed at how the biggest accomplishments can come from the smallest undertakings.

The Oklahoma CIO Awards spotlight IT Executives from both Public and Private sector organizations for their Leadership, Corporate Impact, Innovation, Process Transformation and Community to the organizations they work so hard to support. We are excited to announce that nominations for the 2021 Awards are now being accepted through September 24, 2021.

Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:

• Creativity/Innovation - A strengthening of the competitive position of an organization's product or service through the creative use of innovation and technology. Creation of a new system, technology, or application of IT that is unique and/or market-leading.

• Impact/Process Transformation - An increase in the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization through the use of information technology. A significant transformation of business processes to improve internal and/or external customer experience.

• Leadership/Community Service – Excellence in leadership skills and execution in the eyes of the IT staff and the executive management of the organization. Excellence in leadership skills through community involvement and service.

 

​The Oklahoma CIO Awards are presented during the InnoTech Conference – Oklahoma’s premier IT event happening October 2021, where ISG in partnership with InnoTech Oklahoma will announce the 2021 winners.

​Who Should Apply

CIO’s and/or IT Executives from both Private and Public sector organizations in Oklahoma. The nominee must be a current, senior information technology executive/CIO in an Oklahoma-area company. The basis for recognition is leadership in the use or creation of information technology within an organization. This leadership should be demonstrated through one or more of the following accomplishments: creativity, impact, innovation, process transformation, or leadership.
